Fruitopia (Mazooma) and Fruit Pots (QPS)

In 2002, I played Fruitopia, which had a looped board as your standard board. The super board was like a chess board where you could move up, down, left, right, with limited moves using cursor keys. A year later, it became available on the emulator. It was the exact same game, right down to the sound package, but it was called Fruit Pots and it was by QPS, not Mazooma.

Does anyone know the history behind that? On a side note, I've also seen a King Kebab and a Donar Kebab and again, it's the same game. The only thing I recall as being different was the jackpot symbol on the reels.

Thanks.

QPS did rebuilds for Mazooma. Especially when the convert them down to £5 versions.

And it was available on the emulator that early because QPS had a different tech in their machines.
BWB did rebuilds for Barcrest and that, Crystal do JPM...Lots of companies have their rebuild partners.
