Yeah u can. That's when I thought - shit this will take it to like 290ish off.Spyder wrote:i didnt think you could key a machine thats got an active bank?
Your making me think though whether u can do it most of the time, I've never had any reason to check a machine while I'm playing it (although obviously important for an empty) I sometimes check a machine after takin the bank to see how much I've left it off but that's it...

Perhaps I should extend the question - can you tell a re-chip without getting seriously involved?bigpokercouk wrote:Brainsmilk monitor wrote:Not played a chipped one yet - does anybody know how to tell a re-chip?
Realising it doesn't work when using the "brains" method will obviously present a big loss.
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake. WC FIELDS (1880-1946)
I'm not sure about how u tell a re-chip - I haven't asked.
I'm really guessing that u can't tell. I mean what obvious sign would there be?
Also and can any1 shed light on this...
I went back to the bar last night that I emptied on Mon and the note light was on... I thought hmm that's odd.
Anyway checked it and it was £110 off....
So what do u reckon? Bear in mind it was dead when I was in there..
a) Been slotted? What - £130 in 1 night?
b) re-filled half floated maybe? But it had only just opened and half floated is to £125...?
Anyway I stupidly tried a board which cost £14 (what was I thinkin) and I took the bottom feature whatever it's called which always goes for £3 min and it went for £2 so obviously still dead.
Any thoughts?

Sorry, struggling to understand here. Are we talking about two different varieties of the DOND machine?
I was talking about CYBTB (thread title) not WIYB.
