Amen!

It was/is my local, the last thing I am going to do is tell someone (even my best mates dad) what/how/when in my own local...

Ask yourself seriously... Would you?

not a tricky one that... Yes, I would. If it was family/friends family. Its not as if he's gonna steal the machine from you in the longterm and you dont even have to show him HOW to win, just win him so money and get back to your nite out.

I used to help people out but it really p*ssed my girlfriend off, for obvious reasons. Not anymore though, to many people don't even thank you let alone offer a drink, therefore fcuk 'em - we've all learned the hard way and people don't realise the 'name' has gone red then thats their problem not mine!

I don't even tell people when I've dropped a m/c anymore - get losing bitch!! :P

was in a pub yesterday with a hire-out room, and there was an 18th b'day party in there. sitting having a drink with a guy who does a bit of a fruitie circuit round here and we see the b'day boy and a few of his mates on manic muncher. now this thing was absolutely begging to go, it was putting them up on fuck all, so me and my mate went up to give them a bit of birthday cheer and let them know it was gonna blow. they then "politely" told us to fuck off, as they knew wot they were doing, and also not to play the vortex because they'd just emptied it. a bit taken aback, my mate put a few quid in vortex and bang, it went for about £80. the boys didn't see, but left manic empty handed by all accounts, so i put a few nuggets in, £15 later and its basically pushed me all the way up the red trail and into the super box, where it continued to give me £70 - then won another £4 to walk off with a nice £59 profit. thats the last time i tell any1 the machine they're on is gonna go, if they're that ignorant and rude, i'll take pleasure in watching them lose and then extracting the booty

I had an amusing one today.. watched a guy put about a score into a gold rush. Normally I wouldn't look at it, but I was waiting for a friend. He eventually ambled off, and I went on it. 5 notes in, and he comes and hovers by my side, and stands that little too close to be annoying.. but I say nothing, since what would it achieve ? After about 3 quid of spins, he holds out a crumpled fiver, and whines "Can you lend us 2 quid, I want to go to the cinema"... to which I reply about watching him do a score in the fruit, and have no sympathy. Go away. Now, at that moment, the machine just threw two tops at me for no reason. Cue whining in an even higher pitch "How about now ? Go on, it's just two quid". After a firm rebuttal, he stuck his remaining fiver in Noels Pocket, and left.

People these days.. no self respect or sense of shame.
