happened about 4 or 5 times on two units over a month, pretty sure no-one else saw a megastreak or jackpot inbetween my visits on either machine though,Scott wrote:Are you saying it flashed the board after a jackpot Spyder? A Barcrest £70 streaking must be super rare? I can't think of any recent Barcrest i would even try for a board after, saying that they are all rips/traps.
if im not ment to say this then im sure someone will delete or edit it?
it only seemed to flash if you changed the stake down after the first mega, next board or second board on lower stake would flash.
but as i said above, it was a natural jp/mega not ripped or using shortcuts.
big brother got chipped loads, too many corners cut from the £15 to £25 software, im almost certain one version autocollected the jp when it was lit too...gambogaz1 wrote:2005 sounds about right Scott. That was probably the end of a standard Barcrest streak profile, Even Big Brother got tightened up to 2 JP's if you were lucky.

I agree. Wobbler was an example of a great Barcrest. I played it once in late 2006. I also loved the Barcrest games where you could open up extra parts to an existing trial. The first in their series was stuff like Top Dog (figure of 8 board), followed by more elaborate boards such as Super Star and High Flyer. These were around the same time as Wobbler.

not quite fella..
top dog was circa 2002 so was high flyer.. almost the same release date iirc
superstar was probably 18 months later
wobbler was probably 18 months after that.
first "opening extra parts of the board" was way before that.. circa 1998 depending on exactly what you specify as an extra part of the board

Ooops, my bad there with the dates
ops: I merely saw them all in 2005/6 and I tend to fix the machines in the year that I saw them. Same with TV films.
My first opening of extra board parts for me would be Bell Fruit's "Royale Banker" 2001, where it had a circle board which extended by mechanical means. Quite neat. Then it was used again in the Dream Factory, although the board was more-or-less in the shape of a duck and the duck's head was the extended part
