What was the £10 repeat thing - if you dont mind me asking?
take the 10er repeat, and let it time out,
time out the first time, hit it the second, alternate till empty
i only ever saw one do it, and it had to be the hardest trick to pull off ever, do to the nature of the machine and that if it was ready to give the the 10er, it usually went straight to the jp without giving you chance to take the 10
i wouldnt advise trying this on any now.

it wont be, and if you push for the 10er and take it you'll leave it miles away from giving the top again.... plus if its a £25er it wont work, it was only on the £15
Was playing the one in my local today, I got a red top after piling £30 in it. And after racking up £35 by getting into the middle board, I carried on going because I had an extra life.
I got the red GR eventually, but it only gave me £35. I thought I'd have at least got £70 off it.
I wished I'd have took the £35 repeater now.

If red Gold Rush didn't go beyond £35, then £35+rpt chance would definitely NOT have repeated either.aferg01 wrote:I got the red GR eventually, but it only gave me £35. I thought I'd have at least got £70 off it.

Interestingly, on the Games Media site - it talks about Return of The Jackpots - and says something along the lines of 'Collect ROTJ when red, and Jackpots will return!' .... implying something guaranteed about it.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy
I was playing ROTJ yesterday, first two boards were offering fuck all, third board started in the second level, first super shot, only 7 or 8 in and with only about 15 coins on me i collected, it finished on 15 and gambled to pot, next board 60p later collect a fiver which repeated, not bad. Didn't chase cos i know these can sting like fuck sometimes.
