Italian job off it's head...?

Post by Alpine021 »

I mean the one that's similar to hot property etc..

Well I played one yesterday that was off it's head. It did 3 holds for the dynamites on the middle row.

Now that's rare and then it did it again. And I was getting boards every couple of quid.

So is there any way to actually make a half decent profit on these when they r playing really well?

Some1 told me ages ago to stay off the "phone board" (u know what i mean) and to try and get a good win then play the top board last to take a final bit of value.

So I tried this. Took a tenner which repeated then got a top board for about £10

was about £18 up overall but couldn't help thinking I could have made more.

Was going to try for a decent cash or bust but would have gone mad if i'd put it all back in.

Not really, they just take the piss. Looks like its flying, take a DOND board for £1 or less and it goes dead for a laugh. Same COBs as all the others (£25 cash, 1p etc), just leave 'em alone. Thank god there aren't any here. Yet.

yeh another shite dond, this one has a big habit of having £4 or less in the box, I'd say 95% of the time it's a shite box...

Crikey, as I posted in a Hot Property thread, I think this has got to be the worst machine going at the moment. As mentioned above, so often <£4 in your box, and board cost is tremendously high! :(

I'll chip in and agree about the shit boxes on here. Stayed in Donington Park a while back and was on cluedo, saw some guy do £40 odd through it and leave. I got like 6 DOND features, and i think 4 were 1p? Jesus that's bad.
