Sceptre - Rovers Return

Post by jeffvickers »

These are turning up "en masse" again. And costing me fucking money to find out they are "chipped". Set up RR, went down at £2.50 after setting up. Finally gave in and gave me the SH setup. Took Superhold and the fucking thing gave +2 features to scupper the SH. And No, I didn't select extra feature on the centre board. Evil chip. Sceptre are really on the ball now, with this and their nasty 4 reeler chip.

What do you mean 'went down at £2.50?

If you are interested jeff, I have a location for a Cluedo (which reverse gambles and plays fair) and within walking distance there is a Jailbirds, a Happy Campers and 2 WIYB's (dunno what chip though mate).

Don't be too proud to ask, saying that, anyone local to me is welcome to it. :D

On Rolls, you only had to skill your reel 3 times instead of 5.

Sorry you've lost me?

Did you mean you missed it at £2.50? Or it doesn't wedge? RR could be hit in two different ways depending on what chip its on.

Please explain I am confused......

Speaking of this, I played a Cleudo the other week and had a bonus trente-cinq. Not rolling, just that one. Then went back in for the other and had it on £35. Not being able to resist I crouched down and hit it with my chin. A miss! A complete (well 2 off) miss! There is a definite delay in chin pressing compared to finger pressing. Fairplay to the BFK for knocking these in with chin, although wedging to start, you could at least wedge with your chin! Still I can't mock as I've hit 0/1, so there you go.

Jeff you should start playing these with your fingers, are you trying to bang in Roys Rolls with your little toe? I'm not surprised you went down at £2.50.

Are you still on 50p play?

I think we just need to accept that Jeff ain't got a scooby on how to play these or any of the clones.
