I wonder if any of you have had the pleasure of playing a reset global machine... ok here's the news...
warped £35, in a bingo hall, 88% payout, first board 4 superstrikes, full and happy, I'm sure most of us are taking it on from here, even those more cautious types.
£140 for a red top (btw boards after first board were constant £5-15 happy boards)... £35. After that £50 for £35, £20 for £35. After this absolutely comatose, huge cost boards, £2 block...
Find out from engineer because we asked him to turn the sound down (was SUPER SUPER loud) that's its just come in today, and I assume the last place it was at was not set to 88% - hence it must be reset...
Moral of the story- DONT play reset globals

Having said that though, some of the older machines (not Globals, I may add) seem to play really well from reset position - on the emulator, anyway! I tested it with Neptune's Treasure (Barcrest) £15, and you could get a JP within £10 nearly every time it was reset.
Agree though, that most recent machines are horrendous at factory default.
