I played a video Flashback in a pub today.
It was in a red Horizon cabinet that'd been converted to house a top and bottom screen, with only the Collect, Transfer and Start buttons in place on the unit. Seen similar conversions in several Agora arcades.
Kept on with the old reel blast/exchange/gamble/exchange routine and got up to Flashback after £15 in. It then flashed up instructions detailing what the feature is and how to play it - the only problem was that it must've remained on-screen for all of 3 seconds before disappearing. I wouldn't have minded reading it! It paid £32.
I then took a Stop'n'Step to see how it compares to the old machine, alas the spinning middle 'reel' is just a blur on a video AWP and it's very hard to describe it as a skill feature. Ended up with £2.
£30-odd later I climbed out a JP and a little bit of afters for a £71 bank. Which I then attempted to collect ...
.. and the whole display blacked-out before displaying some gobbledegook which amounted to 'unable to pay - IOU £71.00'
Marvellous! So now I'm awaiting a phone call and will have to make a return trip to a very-out-of-the-way pub that I don't really want to have to go to.

This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

Nixxy's just answered a thought of mine ' how would stop n step work, would fast cash work and when 2 reels are held twice how easy would it to be stop the third reel, delayed reaction and all?' Answer - you can't do it, maybe a mole has been reading everyones comments asking for more skill based games/features.
Well done!!
