Deal or No Deal - The power 5 £35

Post by fmlad2002 »

First time i've seen this one..

First 20 quid didnt really offer much above 2 quid and 2 moves, which is pretty disgusting..

Another tenner or so and its playing with some value.. loves to place you in the middle board then give an 11 for no-lose hi lo, giving boost...(had this serveral times).. giving the impression of gameplay, when in reality, doing nothing..

Didnt want to loose a fortune so took whatever and got off, about 15 quid down.. which compared with some of the other DOND's i got off lucky.. Seen one take 22 quid with NO board - albeit on 50p play... Cant see how they can justify that type of programming personally !..One can only assumin the % is maniplulated to *uck....

Does anyone know if the ' play method' works on this one ? (PM pls)..

Cheers

OMG - THIS MACHINE IS EVERYWHERE HERE!!!

Is it just near me, or is this machine in 1 out of every 2 pubs, and out of £35 JP's in general, its pretty much the only £35 machine you find!

ps: I find the machine ok actually, seems much easier to get the superboard (I'm sure that comment will come back to haunt me), although you dont often get the big values (ie £20+)

I think this one is shit, and yes there are many around me. The other DONDs are so much better.

Not seen it yet though going round town tonight. Only got beat the bankers and what's in your box at the minute.

Looks like they have tried to fit too much in if you ask me- and where's the LCD to display how many "super shots" you get- I cannot see it?

Played this machine loads in a pub round here. It's crap and u HAVE TO hit it when it's playing well for a half decent profit or even a profit.

It also flashes a lot for invincible but MS never repeats and u've probably put £20 in before it flashes (mine is a £25 JP).

P.S. to get MS just keep going higher or lower on ur phones when invincible and it will keep knocking values out until only MS is left.

Also This machine will happily hammer u for a board once after u've had a big win. And I don't mean really big I mean say even an £8-£10 win can cost upto £12 for the next board which is mostly a crap board.

The 50p version plays this pretty much the same as everything mentioned above except more of everything i.e. bigger wins when playing and bigger losses when not playing well.

I've not seen or played this yet, but I assume when you land on shots, you use them straight away one after the other, rather than 'banking' them to use later like you would on Cop The Lot for example.

lol lucky you, although I cant beleive how lucky I'm gettign on these - every board I've played on one, bar 1, has given the superboard (phones) - although it hasnt been great on many occasions to be fair - and if that was the case, it gave it back on the next board anyway...

sure the lucks going to dry up soon on these...

heh - I had 1p repeat to £14 on one of these last week :D

That's the main reason i usually keep no dealing on the superboard. If you end up with a low amount, it normally repeats up to what you got offered anyway (unless its crazy high).

never saw any repeat that high1 about £6 at once from 1p for me, lowest being no repeat which suprised me.

Deal or No deal - the power 5

Post by fmlad2002 »

Had the fortune or misfortune to be more precise of playing this a few times no..

'Really' boring and crap gameplay.. Played £35 only, and on 50p play..

Tenner in and im lucky to get a board, usually offering 2 or 3 quid first go. 3rd moved - dead.. Another 10er maybe 15 now and i;m getting the 5quid repeater and if i'm 'REALLY' lucky a 10ner. Another 25 an i'm up to 4 boxes.. a 5iver or so and the flash is on Taken both the mega streak from the phones and mega streak from the power 5 NEVER had it go more than 35..

Couple of times had the 5 boxes give a total of 35, thats it..

Shame as its the most better looking out of em all..

Another real pisser is the Super Skill Stop... - which is nothing like SSS on Pink Panther\clones...

General note about these 35 quider machines now is NOONE walks away without taking a win. If its a bigone, your always onto a looser !!!..

I've found this to be the best one of the series so far, although the expensive boards are really annoying when you're just going for a quick board after an average sized win.

its certainly one of the best DOND machines out there, after playing quite a few now...

the worst by far is, whats in your box - so rare u get anything good on those
