£70's Played, And Was It Worth It???
£70's Played, And Was It Worth It???
Thought I'd give them a go for the first time. First DOND It's Your Show, £12 in for a feature on 50p Stake. £4 board then dead. Another £8 for second feature then I realised that the low button on the cash side werent working "Great" but somehow managed to get phones for DOND. 1st offer £8.50. No Deal. 2nd Offer £11.00. Then Finally Got to £1,£4,£5,£15,£35,£70 left for a poor offer of £16. Next NO DEAL and guess what I lose the big three. End with the £5 in box which gives 1 repeat. I decided to work with the low button not working.
Next I tried Road To Riches which happily swollowed £20 for 2 poor boards. I took some kind of turbo cash for £5 and walked.
Then The Monopoly Style Double DOND, cant remember the name, but tried this on £1 Stake and was amazed to see first press give me nudges to a feature. Had a couple of presses then took Monopoly Double DOND game and ended up dealing with £17 and had £20 in box.
Finally thought Id try Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back for a Jackpot. Put in £38 and got it from nudge rip for a £70 which didnt repeat.
Anyone had a repeat yet???
So all in all £79 in £102 out. £23 profit RESULT (i think)

Dead right, you should all be playing the lo-tech Deal or no Deal Crazy Chair.
Today I had to buy some oregano, some bay leaves, a stock cube and a large onion, so I stopped off at every pro player's favourite supermarket for cotton derived trouser garments originating from Nimes.
It would be rude not to float in and check out the score. One was was hammered but the other looked promising. £50 to get 'I say!' as the godl hit the sack. Alas it was crabby as fook which I took to mean that Uncle Pennybags was stepping onto the scene. He was! He rolled onto stage left to right and then a little later held onto his hat. About £80 deep but with penny bags and some cycled blues the first look it gave it and it was a fairly straightforward run down with a long mardy stretch in between for a reasonable £30ish up after taking into account the blue lost in the other one, just to check and hopefully blag a stray £210 repeat pot.
I was about to leave when I espied a very alluring machine.
Hold on, too hot, changing out these trousers. Way too hot, got to put my shorts on. Hold on a tick.
That's better.
OK, now I've noticed they've made the Triple 777 belly glass change colours. By the by.
This is similar, remember the Fantaztecs, razzamtazamatazzes etc, those last ditch JPMs? well it's similar regalia. Still the dome top shiny, but more disco, less flourescent tube, static lighting.
I abhorently spied the 82% sticker on the glass. £1 play, 82% went the blurb.
"Absolute gash" I concurred with myself before recalling that I had seen a suit semi-pumping the one on the right.
I popped in £1. Cher klunck a choooosh. Went the pound. £1 play 90%, 50p play 86%, 25p play 82%. I mucked about on all three. It seemed that you get more lines with some of 'em and the only other noticeable difference is the offers change. On 25p it's £25 to MS, on £1 it's £70 to MS. Remember they're dynamic offers, so they can all change.
Now listen.
Well as is always the way I popped £1 in the other one. Cher klunck klak onto wood. BOOOM! Rolled in the DonD, alas it was a cheeky 25p board. I managed to get an £8 offer with a mid stream of values left, something like £6 was in the box.
So £15 deep and only a lemon for £2 which offers turbo but I collected.
Here's the hook.
On every win you obtain, five lines if you're on £1. Then you get a BFG turbo gamble thing.
So I'm £15 deep and it rolls in (usually rolls it in, doesn't drop it on the hold like powerlines) (I say usually, not liked I played it much) two sets of plums for £10. It gambles to £12. The disco top glass button lights and DOND is available. Gamble more for better offers. This time I exchanged. I was on £1, so maximum flava.
The offers are frankly as told on here, tawdry. I played four DOND games in total on my session on this machine and one time I had 1p/£3/£4/£8/£15/£70/MS left
Now that's a £20 offer at least. Nope. £9.81. It then removed some low amounts and gave something like £16.24, then the £70 + MS disappeared to leave £8 and £15 for a more normal £11.xx offer.
There is also a repeat on the offer. I had a £6 + £6 when it had offerred £12 earlier on the board.
Sometimes you lose the turbo and it'll spin the win back in.
Always gives three nudges, if it nudges.
Also had roll in melons.
I was £10 up after my fourth DOND game and as the suit had only lost £40ish max, I decided not to get involved.
So that's that one, analogues with its hi-tech cousins.
The thing is, some operators will be offering £1/£0 at 70% payout. That's where the real misery lies. Greedy.

I played my first one last nite, dond the dream factory, 25 50 £1 play, i tried each stake with about £6 on each (wasn't playing as id just finished work) 25 and 50p seemed no different but £1 play put me on every 2-3 quid, ended up taking £34 out as i got bored quite quick. i did miss £40 in my box after dealing on 22.40 ( 50p and £40 left) to be honest im not that impressed with it, im just glad that £70 jp is avaliable on all stakes.

insert 20p to play
Well, if you got bored after getting in every £3-£4 imagine what you will feel like when it starts taking £15+ for a board. You caught this at a good time as some poor mug has just done his weeks wages in it t for it to be playing that well. You did well to make your profit cus believe me, that was a rare occurance.wildcat wrote:25 and 50p seemed no different but £1 play put me on every 2-3 quid, ended up taking £34 out as i got bored quite quick.
I agree
I have seen a few of these on £70
Played 2 just cos they were the first £70's I saw
It doubles numbers in view
It seemed to me, to open the top trail more with not offering anything decent at all
You caught it at a good time believe me
They are like most £70 dond's very poor
I think I paid £19 for a board on one although luckily I managed a £9 cashpot
I certainly won't be playing any more £70's until there is something remotely playable that comes out

I wont be playing the 70's either until something better comes out. I was just posting my experiences for the first time on a 70 (Not Impressed). Only one I have really got involved with is Empire Strikes Back. Forced for JP, very tight on nudges when cherries around these days!!! Took around 95 for JP gambling on cash to 70. No repeat (Obviously), but then it played very odd giving 10's every board which I was collecting, all in all had about six £10 wins and also a £16 cashpot along with other bits. Built the bank up to £172 then I collected, previous bank on this only held £75. Only made around £20 which was a result.
Something will be realeased soon with some good value, in the local wetherspoons these all seem to be getting alot of play.

Walked in a pub on saturday to be greated by
Lets play DOND
DOND perfect Game
Double DOND
Family guy
All £70's
I can't believe the landlord's don't complain about 3 machines all showing Noel edmunds ugly mug on them. I mean why pay 3 lots of rent for effectively the same machine. At least Family guy looks different even though it's the same thing.
Lets play DOND has the awful WOW reel play whereby you get to 8 in 1 spin, 2 spins of no numbers then no 3rd trail held.
Boards looked alright but where costing £8-£15. about £40 in I got a message from the banker "Cash or bust will be Jackpot" :P but got offered Megastreak before I landed on a ? so took that for a flat £70 :x
Perfect game was perfectly wank, couple of very shit boards.
Double DOND only £4 for a board, phones, £70 & £6 left and I dealt with an offer of £35.19 (£6 in me box)
Family Guy £10 for a board for a shitty £4 turbo cash.
Main thing to note, no apparent incentive to play £1 a spin,
Double DOND has a megaphone but no explanation as to what that means??
Lets play gives double numbers plus the red seal but not had the red seal drop in and it just blocks numbers for fun when on a 8
Perfect game gives vertical lines which is pretty shit anyway.
Family Guy, erm nothing at all form what I could gather.
And most importantly stil on very very shit %'s all 74-78% when this pub once had a OAR & Vortex on 82% with +6% on 50p!!

Red seal is pretty underwhelming, just a random stop on the various levels of feature entry. Played this yesterday, £8 in for first board (from red seal incidentally), standard £2 and straight to mystery fare, hit COB expecting deadness, gave me phonesgambogaz1 wrote: Lets play gives double numbers plus the red seal but not had the red seal drop in and it just blocks numbers for fun when on a 8

Took out £40 and £70 on second round so wasn't expecting much, but pushed through and had £20 in box. Some old bloke came up to me afterwards and told me not to play it cos someone had just dropped it

I've found that it can be quite generous with the seal - as you can slow it down with cancel (sometimes cancel doesn't even light up and it still gives the slow-down) but it has no quarms about giving you the phones.Fergo wrote:Red seal is pretty underwhelming, just a random stop on the various levels of feature entry.
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

You can also collect the phones on a '?' on 'Let's Play...'
I had my first £70 JP out of one of these yesterday, off of a tenner.
The seal rolled in and cancel lit to let me select the top entry option, which gives DOND, extra life, extra zone, extra shots and extra bonus I think. The cash stack started quite high and when I landed on the bonus it gave me two, not one (careful of this, I nearly moved back three to a '?' without noticing!) and gave me DOND again as a bonus. Curious as to what this offered, I took the bonus and it eliminated all the blue side. Anyway, bonus and multi-add took the cash stack to £70. I had two red hearts and it landed me on the taxi in the top right-hand corner - I taxi'd to the final heart for the GATW trigger. It auto collected red Mega Streak - I'm glad it did this, else I would've taken the red £70 cash, not knowing if MS was the 'top' on this one.
It went for £70 mind, but £60 up not to be sniffed at. I rattled down my last few quid on 50p a play to get on the board again and DOND was open. I took this and after the usual shenanigans I was left with £70 and £6 with an offer of £35.xx, which I took without quibble - £6 in my box.
So, for a first 'proper' experience, not too bad. No doubt it'll take a shovel full before being that ready again. Very Crazy Chair in profile I thought?!
