Squirrel Squash

Post by JG »

I see MattB is still the Squirrel Squash champion.
I fancy a bit of Europap dance and horns and speedy squirrels, so I may have a poke at the high score to fill the poker void.

Enough of that. No one can beat MattB.

I hear some of you are banking a grand a day. Join the club I say. In a bid to join the ranks of the K a day boys I was planning to get to the local bookmakers come opening.

However I had a puncture and had to fit a new tyre. By the time I had parked it was getting on a bit. I tried a few nuggets in each of the Reel Kings. Three of them were 0,1,2 dinging, but number two was four dinging. It was buzzing as well on the main reflex, I gambled up a £20 win (not a ding board) and obviously the ding reflex was still there for a 5ding £3 later which paid one set of red sevens that I gambled once for £50. I collected and tried a pots of gold. After the initial worry that my Reel Kings had been done when 3/4 where low dingers I could see there was value here for PoG was 2potting.
Pots on reels 2+3 and the slow roll in just past the wild and not onto the pot program. Very little main value. I ploughed £30 through but no avail. Tried dibs and dabs in other games and moved back to PoG and on the first spin, 3*leprechauns for, wait for it.....£75!
I gambled £25 of it and lost, oh well, c'est la vie.
One of my dibs and dabs had been on The Holy Grail which I noticed was looking very dead. A deliberate ploy to confuse the non player into not playing. I fed in £10 and sure enough, it was on a streak. I got the three knights, three times. Offers of £11.50,£18 and £16.50. It all adds up. Three grails for a tenner as well. I played £5 through without a board and some small afterplay which showed it was dying down.

I also had a look at video dial gambler, which is only on one of the terminals and squeezed £20 of value.

By now I was a fair bit over a 1'er up, not bad, get around ten bookies today and there's the K. Usually loads of value.

It was then I went on bonus roulette. This is the game that allows you to double up when you win on a seperate wheel with LOSE,HALF,x1,x2 and the green x3 square. Ob knows what I'm on about.

Anyway I checked the history of the main reel and it was all reds, bar one black number, a sure sign it was paying out. I had to lump on £200 on the red numbers for £100 back and repeated the big bet for the same again. This was so under% it was buzzing on the lower stakes. £1 singles were hitting left right and centre and I was even again, but it was still ARB1, so I lumped a couple of £100 bets on red and then it just locked up. It just freezed me out completely, black numbers every time, no value. Soon it was even showing ABB1. Dead as a doornail, so I left it. These new chip roulettes are so unpredicatable, I imagine it had streaked the night before, so I just had to write off the whole thing as a bad, bad loss.

On a serious note the rest of the day was fairly slow.
Highlight was £2 into a HOF for......wait for it.................£82 back.

Lowlight was finding a full Star Wars then realising it had a routing problem and being IOUd for one death star.

Midlight was getting an £5+repeat red from skilled boxes on a ROTJ to repeat to £15.

MidLowlight was findging a dial behind that gave two denied rip opportunities. Could not stay on it.

Midhighlight was getting a £9 board from a £1 on Al Murray's Happy Hour.

Midhighlowlight was that it was raining, but not in the pubs. Sorry chit shatting now.

This is me.
