I'm off here next month, I'm a raceday virgin and know naff all about horses so any tips would be gratefully received from ant gents with a bit of knowledge. Any things to look out for or should I just stick a pin in the programme?? :D

Any idea what rough funds would be needed for a full days beer session/lunch & roughly £10-£20 a race.

Cheers

 Now thats what you call info. Nice one Harry.
Not sure about which enclosure, I've just paid £30 for coach travel & entry so can't be anywhere very fancy.
Cheers for the heads up on pick pockets, We don't get back till around 2am I've been warned so I think we're stopping down there for a bit afterwards.

Yeah, just text me m8 who's sorting it all. It's the silver circle we're going in.
What tabloid has the more reliable tipster?? I've always followed templegate/The sun's tips when we've had our little tipster challenge on here.

I'm going to the Derby and Royal Ascot in June - absolute virgin to it all, but getting hugely excited.

Can only imagine how mental the Saturday @ Ascot will be...

In the last three years Friday has been even busier than Thursday (Ladies Day) or Saturday (probably the quietest day). Well worth the wait, though.
