apologies but i can't work this out.
what does nap mean in this context?

A nap is usually a tipster's best bet of the day. See any racing pages in a daily newspaper. NB is his second best (Next Best). It's origin is from the word Napoleon (the most valuable coin in France at the time)

i get overexcited that RACING TIPSTER is an anagram of STARTING PRICE
