Is Woods beatable? I say no.

2.4 on betfair.

Depends a bit on the weather, if it stays dry it allows the shorter hitters a chance, but if it rains expect tiger and the long hitters to romp it.

2.4 is too short though for dry conditions.

The bookies are scared crapless of him, same as ronnie in the snooker, both of them look short to me, so value elsewhere.

Bet of the day, lay tiger at 4/1.

7 shots of the lead and if my memory serves he has never won a major when he didn't go into the final round as the leader. I can't see that being the case after todays play.

Good tip - have laid him at 4s on betfair for £25. Can't see him winning it this time either, he's not played well really. Cue him playing a blinder and winning now

Also laid Ian Poluter at 19.5 for a £5 stake. Almost a £1'er back if he loses which i think he will. Good player....yes.....major winner? I'm not so sure...

It's a free bet though. If Woods wins then i lose £100 but then i'll make £100 from Poulter, and vice versa. As Poulter is out of the running now i have one pretty much covered, and we'll see about Tiger. Trevor Immelman is playing superbly well, and if he keeps it up his 6 shot advantage should stay. He's led the whole tournament, so lets hope it continues. 8)

The market is pretty dry now, yesterday was the day to get laying people....if i had more balls i would have laid Mickelson and Rose too yesterday, but would have needed a big wedge in my account!

If Poulter wins you lose £100, and if he doesnt you only win a £5.

That ain't going to happen though

British players have this great ability to throw away all their hard work. Poulter, Rose and Westwood were all doing really well until the wheels came off yesterday. Only Casey has shone through really.

Was getting a bit twitchy, but Immelman played really well and deserved his win. What he was doing on the 16th i don't know!

Only watched the front 9 last night but seemed safe money to me, Tiger for some reason never wins a major from behind on the final day (not sure I would try laying it if only a shot behind though), but as he has had so much sucess his odds on winning are always super short.
