"Golden Charms" betting shop slot game

Post by mrdave »

Very similar to the Rainbow Riches slot with the Leprechauns.

I have had a few goes and finally managed to get three Win Streak symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. I guessed this would be a big payout since it is in effect the same as the rainbows for the old pot bonus on the S16's, but all I got was £26!!! Absolute rubbish.

Anyone else had any decent wins on this game or any of the others in Corals?

lol this game is awful, I've had win streak for £25-60 every time, never given over 3 men, highest board win was £150 and one single loss of £940 on the machine, when I was trying in vain to gamble upto £500 (incidentally it went to £300 twice then lost in the process)

Won't play this or any other video machine again tho, banned myself from all silly gambling :P

I played some online stuff with paddypower. 1st £10 I won £50 and then it was gone so quick. It then took another £50 off me I wasn't happy.

Switched to Roulette and after £10 was up to £50 so cut my losses. I ended up £20 down whihc was better than £70. Problem with rouletter you always think you can have one more go and then you get sucked in.

Best avoiding all these. I wish I could stick to footie accumulators but thats getting hard to predict too.

I've banned myself, best way.

Golden charms

Sad to hear tales of woe about GC.

I picked up £70 on 4 wishing wells last week at Betfred - the top win of 4 money values, and felt cheated. Carried on for a bit, and had three series of win streak signs within about 10 minutes, taking collectable monies to about £180. Unusually generous spins of £40 to £50 each.

Only good thing about this machine is the gamble feature where you select the odds yourself. That keeps the adrenalin pumping, but it's hard work, and yet to see proper monies drop from it.

Party Slotto knocked in a screen full of 7's for me last November, so £500 at last! This was a one-off. Since then, only ever downhill. These machines don't seem to pull the crowds in like in the arcades, but the £35 jps fail to excite.

I'm now back to online casinos in "practice" mode. Spin Palace Casino is well well worth a visit if you have broadband. Great graphics and fast spins, playing with dummy money. Willimam Hill Casino is also good fun, and you can play all their machines in practice mode once you've downloded them. Cheaper to stay in. Very cheap. And you can drink and smoke to your heart's content while you're playing. Now that's wot I call relaxing!

Greetings, JG here.

I found a reel King '4 dinging' today. Within £12 I had the beef curtain out for a £25 win + £2 board win.

This took my bank to £35 as I have fed in a twenty sheet or a twenty pound note as I like to call them.

I decided to play off my fiver and collect my £30.

First two quid in Monty Python, no good, two monsters, not enough monsters, no win.

Then a quid in some wierd shit crap looking Chinese game.

Then £2 into Golden Charms

First spin nowt.

Second spin WIN SERIES on 2,3,4. BLOOP! I'd like to say I nearly pooed my pants (it's a silly time in the morning, so I'm allowed to be infantile) but I didn't as I had the sage words of Ob twisted in my mind. The words of Ob, which may not have even been said by Ob, but they sounded like the sort of thing he might say were "you'll probably get £7 off that, if it's really going you may get £25". Is it just reels 2,3,4?

Anyhow I wasn't very excited and decided whatever I won I'd put on an equine creature.

As it happens I won £116, first spin was about £80. For those who don't know it's a 3*5 grid made of numbers and (-) blanks. The numbers spin around and it adds 'em. When that first spin was £80 I quite literally pooed my pants (I know it's childish, but it's amusing to me for some pathetic reason) then when the later spins were less exciting, I knew I wasn't getting, well who cares? That's the story anyway.

I forgot all about horses as I had no Horse Racing King tips to guide me and spunked £16 in the Reel King on the next terminal. It was fake showing, ie 'fake' 4 dinging which was annoying. It did a 4 ding and then I was working hard to get any dings even when pulling all the anti anti-force tricks out the bag. Definite fake, decided not to get involved.

So there we have it, JG gets lucky on a FOBBO terminal.

I'd still love to get the five curtains some day though.

I've also noticed on GC that lines of things can pay more than £25.

I also had a Reel King 4 ding on several occasions a while back, in true PMK stlye it took about another £300 to 5 ding opened up one beef and did £10. Was this fake dinging then?

How can you tell the difference?

Sometimes it 4 dinged about 3 times on the trot? Is this truly random dinging or can they fake random ding giving you the impression it might 5 ding soon?

Oh cripes! I'm going out to try and experiment, better not be to late tho as I'm taking a nice lady out for dinger! I mean dinner!!!

Ding Dong - The beginning of a nudge on that BGT Bell thingy dingy. +1 Colllllllleeecccttttt!!
