Unless your on betfair no zero roulette (no house edge) then your always on a loser in the long run.

Just had a result off mine ,mind 15 came in 3 times out of 6.Had a 50p on so was spinning 18 quid and getting 18 back then put another fiver in and put another 3.50 on 15 and spread the rest and 15 came in again.4 times in 7 spins. Just left with a healthy 300 profit overall. :D

Ooooh. I didn't mention it at the time, but about three weeks ago I saw a guy drag up a chair and hurl it at the FOBT screen. This was in a William Hill. The manageress said 'Oi! What do you think you're doing?'. I would have thought it was pretty obvious he had...ahem....

DONE HIS SWEDE

and was not in a

MUGGY SPAWNY type of mood.

He left fairly sharpish, leaving a nice 'Spider's Web' effect across the screen.

It later transpired he lost £20 in that session. Perhaps he'd lost £2000 earlier and that £20 was his shot to nothing.

All that time in arcades/pubs and I've never once seen a player lose it with a machine. A few minutes playing Lucky 8 on a shot to nothing whilst passing time waiting for someone and it all kicks off. What are the chances of that?

3 hills machines got screens smashed in Shepherds Bush last week, all in diff shops , walking distance from each other, not uncommon in west london, I guess there are some angry losers around.

Bookies roulette is horrible. You can get a feel for how I feel about these machines from some of my blog entries: http://beatthecasinos.blogspot.com/2007 ... -fobt.html , http://beatthecasinos.blogspot.com/2007 ... rvice.html

Someone mentioned earlier in this thread about Betfair's fantastic ZERO edge roulette - here's a link to my article on that:http://beatthecasinos.blogspot.com/2007 ... -edge.html

If you're a fan of the William Hill Pinball roulette (found on the bookies machines) then you might also enjoy reading about this new online version: http://beatthecasinos.blogspot.com/2008 ... lette.html

Best of luck! I'm a fellow player. The more we share this information and help each other, the more easily we can bring the bookies and the casinos to their knees!

I can understand the anger - when you 1st start a text message comes up with 'this machine is random' - the other day I got 4 11's in a row. Yeah right. Dont even mention Blackjack, I think this takes the piss even more than the roulette if thats possible - time after time you get dealt under 17 with 2 cards and if you stick the machine gets 19,20,21 and if you twist you bust - unbelievable, legalized robbery IMHO. I firmly believe that 9 times out of 10 these machines will clean you out and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

Yeah it's the only sensible way to play, you just have to smash 'em. I don't know why the staff get so uppitty about it. It's quite therapeutic after a hard day's work. People are so nosey. Basically I use a sledgehammer to smash them, you can completely trash the shell of the machine and help yourself to money.
People get this really sort of shocked look on their faces and there's always lots of shouting when I go in to smash them. I even got yelled at that I was barred from all Ladbrokes the other day! It's crazy!
The way it is, is this. They're fixed odds betting terminals. I want to fix the odds in my favour. It's all senile people, drug addicts and immigrants. That's just the staff. After the initial shock, they get used to it. My local Hills make me a cup of tea and offer me some biscuits now before I start smashing up the machines. Even the police are in on it now, always asking me questions. Picking me up, putting tags around me...no doubt to see what shops I've done, so they can go and do some other ones.
It's really easy, I can now do 'em in three swift strikes. BISH!!! BASH!!!! BOOOOSHH!!!!! grab the cash and run. It's the way to play. I took £30K out of one in Bath the other week. Real easy money. Lowest I've had is about £25 at 2:30 in the afternoon. Usually good for a few hundred.
One I smashed open had a load of pound coins in. Come on people!!!! Just ask to change them at the counter, son't use the machines to change 'em!!!! I can't be bothered with coins. Dirty great big bundles of notes do it for me.

by the way m8 if you get tired of these, you could try bank vaults, ive heard there's more money in em,,,,,,,,, i know, i point em out for you, you do em with your hammer,. i just want a 10percent finders fee, you can keep the rest.
Little discipline = BIG issue

lol. I've heard they can take a few whacks with the old hammer and still not yield any cash. Also the police get really uppitty when you try and get into these vault things, I don't know why. They're not rigged, but some of those bank charges could be pretty annoying to a muntling.

I'll look up my old friend Dynamite Dan and see if he has any ideas.
