bookies staying open later?

Ive noticed recently that bookies seem to be open on a night, when all the UK horse racing finished hours ago...

Id imagine its because FOBTs are raking in so much it makes it worthwhile to pay the staff for a handfull more hours??

Tote near me is open till half 9 someday's, fookin mental...

its good, but the staff in one of my local bookies sit around watching soaps at X'oclock on the couch... really really REALLY pisses me off that

I've noticed this too, Betfred are the only bookies round here with fruit's anymore.

Willi*m Hill have Weekend Football Slips advertised as "Sale" or Bonus",
you get a better return for your selections, BUT you can only put these coupons on after 6pm! A good way of drawing in a punter maybe just to try the FOBTs when the racing has finished. EVIL!

Unfortunately AWPs are virtually extinct in bookies as they just don't make enough compared to FOBTs. No brainer really when they know people are going to be playing them all day.

Quite fancy Chatshow in the last at Wolverhampton today, but its got a woman riding it... sigh..... And im not sure if 5 Furlongs is right for it..
