AC Milan v Celtic 4/12/07

Post by ROSSKEEN »

Draw definitely seems to be the bet.

AC need a draw to top group and Celtic need a draw to qualify.

Painful as it is as a Rangers fan to say it, I think thats the result on Tues.

Its 8/11 in Corals when most draws are around 9/4.

There was a similar situation last season in Arsenals group, and that game finished a draw also.

What do you expect with those Italians. 0-0 will be about 4/1.

Because Celtic are average at best. They may dominate their domestic league but when there is only one team as good as yourselves (better in my opinion) and the rest are Championship/League 1 standard, it isn't hard, is it?

You can't ignore the fact that Celtic's away form (in Europe) has been every bit as poor as their home form has been good. They've never won a game away in the Champions League, and have only drawn one.

Their away form has been rather poor domestically. They've failed to keep a clean sheet away from home for well over a year.

Still, this comes from the person who stuck a tenner on Hibs to win the league.

Celtic 2-0 is 69/1 on Betfair.

I shall lay the draw at 2.2. Even though this has all the hallmarks of a 'let's both get the result we want' match I suspect Milan will go 1-0 up and sit back and Celtic will fail to equalise against a team that actively wants them to score.
