Quizmaster's Footy tip

Bolton should be too strong for Newcastle today, even given Newcastle's recent run (which is predominantly home form)

Bolton trading at 2.00 on Betfair, 5/6 elsewhere

Spurs v Liverpool to draw looks the pick of the Premiership today.

9/4 available (3.30 on Betfair).

Could be a high scoring encounter but expect them to cancel each other out

POV accepted.

Pompey look the value today. 6/4 available on Premierbet, 11/8 variously available elsewhere.

Pompey very strong at Fortress Fratton, and Spurs are never at their best on New Years's Day

Blues look the pick of the 3rd round for me as value to turn Newcastle over. 13/8 generally available, 2.7 on Betfair.

For sheer value, the bet of the weekend has got to be Liverpool at 15/8 with Total Bet.

...and yet they didn't! Chelsea didn't even look like a premiership team yesterday. Not that I'm complaining! ;)

I'd be looking at Pompey/Boro for the draw tomorrow. 9/4 available generally (poor) but 3.5 on Betfair.

Even given Boro's recent league form, it looks an evenly matched contest.
