Britain At The Bookies

Post by harry2 »

Spot The Stereotype.

1. The Half-Wit " professional " roulette player.

2. The hopeless Jamaican serial loser.

3. The abuser who has done their bollocks on the FOBT's.

4. Bookies knocking back winning punters.

And now the bullshit about " responsible gambling "Only last week there was a Nepalese guy in our town centre Corals who loaded up £200 on his card at least a dozen times in two hours.

I caught the last ten mins or so. Worth watching but nothing ground-breaking in regards to the content. The bookies know that ultimately the government will back them because they've taxed it.

Watched it. Thought it was very watered down and 'safe'. Can't believe there was anything new for punters there - maybe people who have never been in a bookies saw something they didn't know before?

There was the 'shocking' revelation that bookies actually refuse bets from anyone who is even moderately successful. And shop manager Tony was a bit too pleased with himself.
