Was on a quiz machine at lunchtime and a question came up about Motley Crue. the answer was their guitarist Mick Mars. Half an hour later I get a text off my mate - "Are you coming to watch the derby later in the pub?"
So I go straight to Ladbrokes and see the word 'Mars' next to 16/1 - stick my money on that without even looking at the other names. If I had it would have jogged my memory and I'd have defintely stuck money on ROTW. Absolutely gutted. I knew some on here would have made a mint - good on whoever did!

Finally the horse has been honoured in the avatar. Next run on 29th June in the Irish Derby. He is a confirmed runner and best price I see is a mere 11/8. Can't see him losing but I'd fear Trading Leather more than any others.

And sure enough, Trading Leather won it! He'll bounce back, jockey to blame for that pathetic run!

Ran in the Prix Niel on Sunday, watch the race! This is a prep-race for the Arc, I think 10/1 with Laddies is a good each way bet on this evidence!

I have been as long at 14/1 but now you'll be lucky to get 10's. Do I really have a chance of winning the richest race in Europe? Er... I think yes. From the run in the Prix Niel I would say most definitely, because with a clear run I'd have won by a couple of lengths. If I had done, I think my price would be far shorter. I see Intello as the danger, Orfevre will be unplaced, as will Treve. I would still go each way, even though I should win by 5 lengths +

Here is a high quality video of the last run - along with the worst commentary ever heard, whoever this guy is, no wonder we never hear him over here! Fucking useless!
