So how many bets of say, 1.05 - would it take to climb to £10,000.

My rudimentary calculations come out around 140...

I think I may come away from betfair and move to betfred.

Simple reason is betfair take a commision from your win! That's a fucking disgrace! They also fee you1.5% for depositing via paypal.

At shows in London so no bets today unless the wife puts them on... will let you know what I have. Well done those that are sticking to hat-tricks. It'll start getting interesng after about forty games or so.

It's the commision that's keeping me away. Ok, it's only 7p on a £1.35 win but what when you win like £800 on your last bet? Do you really want to give up like £90, just for winning? I would say over the tern of £10-£10,000 you would give about a grand in commision.

You dont really seem to get what betfair is about, I think its best you did go to betfreds.

As you tend to get better prices on BetFair, even with the commission it is nearly always worth betting on BetFair. Not all the time, granted.

Birmingham vs Tottenham tomorrow. 1.02. Not the best price, but the others were 1.01 except Liverpool...
