Whoop! +£245 and off to a flyer again this season (don't get out your pram, I always seem to do well until Xmas then it starts going wrong - maybe I should learn from that).

We'll stick with the Spurs theme and their underwhelming performances. I fancy that they'll only get a draw tomorrow with a battling, hard to beat Sunderland.

3/1 high street. 4.2 Betfair, so not much in it after commission

Surely Villa are a maximum bet 2day?

You'd certainly give no chance to Stoke, but I always go for en evens or better price on my tips/bets, since I have come unstuck in the past following so called 'banker' bets of the weekend. The problem with backing odds on single bets, particularly if you only have 1 per round of fixtures, is that you've only got to go down on a couple in a row and then it becomes hard to get back in front.

For those so convinced of Villa's dominance ( I am too) I recommend a lay on Stoke (6.2), giving you the draw as well.

Bah +£145. Spurs really are crap. Crapper than even I thought.

Shopping around for value, Sunderland look the pick for me tomorrow. Man City have got no firepower and Sunderland won't concede more than 1 at home.
It's yet another match up of former Utd players with Keane vs Hughes. I'd back Keane every time, so get on the 2.32 on Sunderland. 6/5 for those of you who don't wan't to pay commission.

+£45.

So much for my assessment of Sunderland's ability. Clearly Man City were aware of their impending new owners and were playing out of their skins to impress the new Doctor in charge.

Wigan/Sunderland looks like a good draw today. 23/10 high street, 3.3. Betfair so save the commission.

+£275

Early bird up to catch the worm this weekend. Whilst we're a bit flush with cash 'early doors' as Ron would say I suggest we look at the Bolton/Arsenal draw (11/4 high street a slightly better 3.85 Betfair, but not much in after commission).

Arsenal always struggle at Bolton, or did when Big Sam was in charge. Form people will say it's a banker away, but I'm not so sure.

Form people were right. That was a muppet tip.

Fulham will be too strong for Zola's West Ham today. Fulham's home form has always been good, even when they've been shit, but they look a reasonable outfit this season.

13/10 high street, slightly better 2.38 Betfair.

We were going along fine until the 43rd minute. I never bet on my own club but I too was looking long and hard at the 5/4 on offer inside the ground, I might have struggled to resist the 13/10.

Glad I didn't, now ...

Nothing like that, seen enough lower league football to stick my head on the block and confidently predict this one correctly.

Form wise,East Fife unbeaten away for almost 12 months. They have lost 2 at home at the start of the season ( one of which was deserved (Peterhead) the other certainly was not .Beat the supposedly best team in the league last week 3-0 .

Stranraer , poor this season, poor team, manager not getting the backing from aboveOnly one decent player ( Tade ) and he's gonna get constant stick from the Fife faithfull throughout the 90 minutes as a result of an " alleged " racial assault by an East Fife player last season.

2-0 possibly 3-1 result.

The odds will be absolutely shite. Our manager wishes he was back at the Huns, all our players are up for sale and we've got quite a few suspensions.

You're right about Tade getting stick. He is actually a nice guy tho so it's a bit of a shame. It might actually lift his game a bit to be given pelters. Still, from what I've seen this season, he's streets ahead of his nearest teammate.

I've just checked. The best odds on oddschecker are 8/15. Mind you, Arsenal were 1/5 to beat Hull

:D
