each bet is 1 point, and stake of 1 point doesnt count, i.e, you win your 7/1 horse you get a return of 7 not 8...
scoring:
In all races of up to 4 runners - only the winner scores
In all races of 5, 6 or 7 runners - the first two score
In all races of 8 to 15 runners - the first three score
In non-handicaps of 16 or more runners - the first 3 score
In handicaps of 16 or more runners - the first four score
