harrys the man

Post by itsme »

harry........ when it comes the the horses,your the man..

im in a bit of a pickle :D

i can work most bets out but seem to struggle with round robins.

eg. 50p round robin is a fiver = 10 bets.

1 x accumulator
3 x singles
3 x doubles

are the other 3 bets 'cross bets' ??

if so , how do you work it out.

do me a favour and work this out. i cant collect my bet till monday because i left the slip at work. i want to kno how much im gunna get.

25p e/w round robin. ( 5 quid )

1st @ 4/1
1st @ 5/1
1st @ 6/1

thanx............

You get a treble and also you need to know whether the races were a 1/4 or 1/5th of the odds as well as you did them each way?!

The other three bets are "up and down" or any to come bets

ie £ 1 stake

Three horses AB and C

The bets are

£1 win A, any to come £1 win B
£1 win A, any to come £1 win C
£1 win B, any to come £1 win A
£1 win B, any to come £1 win C
£1 win C, any to come £1 win A
£1 win C, any to come £1 win B
£1 single A
£1 single B
£1 single C
£1 treble ABC

FYI

A quick way of calculating an all correct Lucky 15.

Add 2 to each of the prices and multiply the numbers, then subtract 1.

Four horses ABC&D
ie. 2/1,3/1,4/1 and 5/1 = )(2+2) x (3+2) x (4+2) x (5+2))-1

= (4x5x6x7) - 1 = 840-1 = 839.

ie

4 singles

A = 3
B = 4
C = 5
D = 6

Singles = 18

6 doubles

AB = 12
AC = 15
AD = 18
BC = 20
BD = 24
CD = 30

Doubles = 119

4 trebles

ABC = 60
ABD = 72
ACD = 90
BCD = 120

Trebles = 342

1 4-Fold

ABCD = 360

Singles = 18
Doubles = 119
Trebles = 342
4-Folds = 360

Return = 839.
