Interesting way to bet
When you go on Betfair and find Correct Scores for football matches, you can often find 0-0 at a big price. Usually 9-1 in a standard game in league 2, and if there is a team who should be winning, its bigger.
0-0 For United vs Southampton was 17-1, by the time the first goal went in 0-0 was trading around 5-1
Its a dare devil waiting game, and I quite enjoy it (backing to lay)
If you sling say £10 on 17-1 for instance (thats a £170 return if successful). Then time goes on and prices contract so start laying, and it doesn't take long to get to the point where you break even. (barring an early goal - you'll likely lose a tenner).
You can lay and back in due course. the longer it goes on as 0-0 the higher the stakes get, if you find yourself at the point where there's little time left and its still 0-0 you can start doing big lays so that your returns for 0-0 only decrease by very small amounts..
I reckon its a good, although had a bad beat when I had a £350 return on 0-0 United when they scored before HT. Id only layed small amounts as the price was falling, but I could have put a bigger lay on to be £40 up guaranteed. As I say, dare devil game!

Fair to say you get mega value in the Spanish league
37-1 on 0-0!
0-0 is very unlikely, but if that got to HT at 0-0 I bet the price for 0-0 drops will be less than half. Keeping an eye on it!
Me like Spanish Footy. MESSSIIIII !!!
Edit - 43 Minutes in and we have the first goal. The price at this point for 0-0 was just 10-1!

Quite often do a similar bet on a cup game. Assuming teams don't go at it from the start I will bet say £100 on the draw at 3.9 before kick off. Once in play I will put a series of lay bets at £5 each at 3.7, 3.6,3.5 etcetera. The longer there is no goals the more profit is to be made. Then again an early goal can wipe out the profit from 5 or 6 games and you have to avoid the temptation of trading bigger stakes to win a small amount back.

A very good point..
Ive been doing very well on this recently (aided with Arsenal vs Liverpool, QPR vs Derby, and Man Utd vs Newcastle)
One thing ive learned, is that if your bet is still on after half an hour or so, invest into 0-0 further, and then right away put a lay on 0-0 at half time.
Tonight I did this at 6.8, and by half time it was 4.4.
0-0 at HT dropped to around even money at this point, so in my case it was simply a boost to the return on 0-0 FT. I lost 20 quid on HT, however with the FT contracting to 4.4 It was easily retreivable with a lay..
Example :
£10 @ 14-1 - 0-0FT = £140 return (excluding stake)
£20 @ 6-1 - 0-0FT(after half an hour lets just say) = £260 return
£20 lay @ evens - 0-0HT (after half hour) = £20 back if theres a goal & minus £20 if there isn't
At HT - 0-0FT = 4-1 (ish) - £20 lay takes £80 off the £120 added to 0-0FT earlier, and you've got your £20 back
If that makes sense!

Having a go at this with Chelsea today 25/1 is huge. Ofcourse I don't think it will end 0-0 but hopefully I'd have layed enough by then to still make a decent amount.
Update: layed my £10 stake off at 32 mins @ 9/1. Just a case of how greedy I get now :P
Went to 13/2 ish was trying to hold on til HT. Oh well didn't lose anything
