Yeah £200 down now. Shame about the Portugal game had got on a nice run going there. I have indeed laid 0-0 tonight at 25's to win £4.

1st rule of betting is to get back in the saddle when you get knocked off.

I think the ball is having an impact. Lower on the 2.5 goals markets would be going great guns so far.

Where is this standing now QM? Think we are at about six nil nils which I had estimated would be about the break even point over the whole tourney.

Made £117 back before England let me down against Algeria (+£17)
Made £221 back by the Paraguay/NZ game (+£121)
Made £39 by the Brazil/Portugal game (-£61)
Made £26 by the Switz/Honduras game (-£74)
Made £78 by the Paraguay/Japan game (-£22)
Currently on £65 run

I moved away from accumulative laying after the first 2 had gone down, since you were obviously right with your 6 0-0's prediciton.

Currently -£154 on the tournament.

I know. World Cup Final 0-0. Twats. Finished -£197 on the whole. At least it's only every 4 years.

Right, back to the proper stuff - £100 single

Super Roy to crush Arsenal. I have a feeling he's a lucky manager and I've had Arsenal to finish outside the Top 4 this season (Laid 1.57) so may as well stick with my guts. 7/5 High Street, a marginally better 2.58 Betfair.

Accas (£5 stake):
Homes: Villa (10/11), Bolton (5/4), Sunderland (11/10)(nb), Wolves (5/4), Chelsea (1/7), Liverpool (7/5)(nap), Man Utd (1/4)
Draws: Spurs (23/10), Blackburn (9/5)

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to go against you there.

Had a brave £50 double on arsenal(9/5) and man city(9/5) risky I know but I like those odds. Probably could of got better on line odds too.

In the championship palace(7/4) away at Barnsley look tasty. As do n**wich away at scunny(6/4).

Time will tell I guess. At least if city lose i've still got time to re-invest before 3.00!!

Blimey mk donds (8/5) at home to saints. Tempting.

-£100. I find it's alway nice to get my season off to a start with a last minute blunder by some inept keeper. Nice one Pepe.

I favour Newcastle to get a draw against Villa at St. James tomorrow. They didn't look completely outclassed against Man Utd on Monday night and will stifle more medicore forward lines. (9/4 High St, a similar 3.35 Betfair

Accas:
Homes: Arsenal (1/6), Everton (1/2), Stoke (12/5), WBA (6/4), West Ham (13/10), Man City (13/10)
Draws: Blues (nb)(9/4), Newcastle (nap)(9/4)
Aways: Chelsea (1/4), Man Utd (8/13)

Good luck QM. I'm going for a treble QPR, Reading and Cardiff. Just under 6/1.

-£200 Well that was close.

False dawn at Newcastle? Maybe so. Wolves look a reasonable price given that McCarthy's team plays tight at home. 7/5 High St., a marginally better 2.54 Betfair.

Accas:
Homes: Blackburn (5/1), Spurs (1/4), Chelsea (1/9), Wolves (7/5)(nap), Man Utd (1/7), Bolton (11/10)(nb), Liverpool (1/5), Villa (6/4)

Draws: Blackpool (12/5), Sunderland (12/5)

-£300.

After the enforced lay off it's good to be back to Saturday football again. WBA look a good price at home to me 14/5 High St., the same at 3.8 on Betfair. Most of that Spurs crowd will be tired and no Defoe could mean a 1-0 nick to West Brom.

Accas:
Homes: Arsenal (2/9), City (1/3), Newcastle (4/7), WBA (14/5)(nap), Stoke (7/5)

Draws: Everton (5/2), Fulham (5/2), Blues (9/4)(nb)

Aways: Chelsea (1/3), Sunderland (9/5)

Enjoy!

-£400. Ace start to the season. I still blame Pepe Reina.

I'm sticking with Albion (they should have nicked it last week). 13/10 High St., slightly better 2.4 Betfair.

Accas:

Homes: Stoke (10/11)(nb), Villa (4/5), Blackburn (11/10), Everton (8/13), Spurs (2/5), WBA (13/10)(nap), Sunderland (9/2), Man Utd (8/11), Chelsea (1/10)

Aways: Man City (8/11)
