double on the World cup

Post by ob »

Got many decent bets on the Wc. but for starters lets have 2.08 on spain to beat honduras and chile on the double at skybet...

Can't say fairer than that for starters...

Only had 3 so far.

As I mentioned on another thread, I've had a ton on there NOT bein a hatrick in the tournament at 4's.

And £50 on England goin out in either the quarters or semis at just over and then just under 4's respectively.

No doubt they'll be daily accums goin on!!!

Heskey's international strike rate is 1 in 8.2 games(which is actually better than I thought!!) so I should be safe there!!

More incredible than that is his career stats (not including internationals) which is a remarkable 1 in 4.5 games. I had no idea he was that prolific!!

But don't forget he brings so much into the game apart from his incredible strike rate.

Like flattening the Wembley penalty-box turf with his arse. Although to be fair, he has managed to stay on his feet a bit more of late.

Heh, talking of footy bets, whenever an England game was on, my mate and I would have bets on how many times Defoe would be caught offside! :)

Comes to something when us stoke fans are gutted to be linked with a move for him. An England international  is it Stokies getting too big for our boots or is he that wank?? :)

Chile could quite possibly be a banana skin, I was shocked to find them ranked 15 in the world, the type of game Spain are reknowned for slipping up against at the big tournaments.

Take 7.6 on Betfair England to win and lay the bet off when they get to the quarter finals. The papers will be full of "We can win it" headlines as the country once again sees its hopes rise only to be dashed when they play a top quality team.
