Jump a few levels, saves pointless £2.50 profits etc
1) I don't want to lose £1,000 i don't have - my biggest loss will be £10.

I can't be arsed to give you any more reasons... :)
I'm happy with what i'm doing... if you're happy betting £1,000 at a time, thats fine. I'm not.

And its sods law that the first bet goes down too, now that would sting a bit.

theres no reason why you dont get up to a few k, afterall the odds are in your favor..

but you will hit one that goes wrong,

i remember a rugby match a few years ago, my mate had had a good win on the footie, and he put £1600 on a sure fire rugby match, with odds the wrong way, like 5/16 or something.... hoping for a £500 raise,

oooooh no.... the other team won by like one point....

sat in the pub with his head in his hands for a good half hour...

now if you waste a tenner, or the 35 you have now... it'll be a bit different after all that time and effort to lose on one match in 6 months time...

it'll be funny, but i wont laugh... just with any gambling, know when to walk away, 10k is too much,

id stop if you get to a grand... then start again...

Well, current thinking is that if, and its a big IF, i get to £1k, i'm going to split it in to two and carry on. As soon as one of them loses (i won't do the same match in both) i'll bail with the money and start again at £10! :)

Chances of me getting to £1k... very, very slim indeed!

Still, i see it as a bit of fun!

You only have to look at Denman yesterday which touched 1/8 and finally went off at 1/6 and ended up falling.

I've gone back to betfreds goal galore. Had some decent profit from this, this week alone. 2 x 3 games and a 6 game last night.

Might give it another go on betfair at some point.
