Just for giggles....

Post by Shaggerty »

Was at Wembley tonight for the Premier League Darts finals.

Anyway, was in a pub prior to going just outside Wembley. Next door was a bookies, big red sign, didn't think anything of it, (Ladbrokes, right?)

Put a fiver on Wade to win with the odds 11/2.
Anyway, I realised after getting to my seat, the company I took the bet out with was an independant bookies, not Ladbrokes that I thought at first with the red signs.

I won my bet, but have to go all the way back to London to claim my winnings, as I believe they only have one shop according to the internet.

So...
Any way around this?
How long is the slip valid for?

Ask them to send you a cheque. They will probably ask for the slip number.
Roulette free since December 2011.
