Local players

How many decent local players are there in your area on the quiz games? Obviously there are players who fill the machines up but do you have any serious competition around your way?
Where I am there is this one guy who I see sometimes, if I see him out I know it's not worth playing, he's not as good as me but he's good enough to win a few quid and put the prize levels up. Apart from him most people seem to be pretty ordinary on machines near me.

I never seem to see 'pros' in my area but whenever I try to play STD (used to be easy to win £4) the £1 is right at the top. IANTANYA hold the top spot for this game alone on the four itBoxes in town.

where i am there are loads of pubs so loads of pros sniffing around. if i went out to leicester square now (midday monday) i can guarantee there will be scruffy punters on all the itboxes mopping up from the chavs at the weekend. i am the best at WU which is the only game i play seriously but few other people put much through that for me so £1 is normally at 1600 or so. WU scoreboards in all the pubs i go into are filled with various pseudonyms ( aside from occasional Bobbing forays).
it is still normally worth playing things like japseye and whatever is on the front screen where i am but if you are looking to get a few quid out of DD/Mcrap/PQ etc you are whistling in the wind because these are well covered by good players. i dare say millionaire is normally easy too (unless you hit it after a specialist) but i've not played that in ages.

A few months ago me and a mate had the top 10 scores on STD and had held all 10 for around 4 months - either no one played it or they were all pants.
See one guy playing them in 'spoons regularly, doesn't seem to take a lot out but gets a lot of gaming from his couple of quid.
