Odd credits, pool game, and an honest landlord

Post by jonesey »

Has anyone else noticed odd amounts of credit (12p or suchlike) being 'left' in machines recently. Nearly every machine I've played over last few weeks has had some - is it possible some machines (at least) are programmed to add small amounts if they're not being played to try to attract the punters ?

On a different topic, have been winning a few £ on that pool game that came out a few months back - think this is definitely worth 50p to see if it's in a generous mood.

And connected to that, machine in my local refused to pay out £10 last week. Left my name and number, and, blow me, the landlord actually phoned after the engineer had come to ask me to collect the cash. Never had that before...

Could this be the the bits of winnings on Deal Or No Deal, when Noel Tidy Beard lets you win 1p?

Ah - that makes more sense - thanks

I never play DOND so hadn't realised you could get these odd amounts.

Yes - the odd amounts are leftovers from the DOND Big Reds abomination, which I think is only on the Gamesnets.
