I don't play DOND, but a fellow pro who does, has told me that large target scores are becoming a problem to him. He said he had seen 'several' in excess of 100,000, somebody is getting good!!

Wow, I've never seen over late 80s I don't think, but I don't play it much anymore. Can't see why someone would take the time to get *that* good at DOND when the endgame can easily stop you winning more than about £2 a game. Sure, you could then make c. £1.50 profit a game, but I can't really see the point in that.

Properpro do you not even have a dabble?- in my experience in most high street chain pubs there is plenty of value in these.

Does the time is money factor/ randomness of prizes mean that it is not even worth a punt when you have more certainty on offer elsewhere?

Just curious

Absolutely right in my opinion. But I suppose the counterview that once your 50p is in you might as well play it for all it's worth, (no matter how long that single game may take), has some merit.

Got it in one NM! I looked long and hard at DOND and I fully realize the value in this game, as say with Bullseye, (lots of value).

The truth is there are so many machines, so many games, and so little time!

Money goes in, not enough hours in the day to take it all out.

I've had a 99000. I don't mind that as much as the continual four questions. Lowest was 11000.
The trend I've noticed though is targets in the 20s but with almost immediate spoilers. Its a trap I tells ya!

Yep, the fake board.

I love it when it completely cheats. Get a target of 22,000.....play the game, leave yourself with the right boxes for that 22,500 offer that i think is the max you can get in the first offer.....only for it to offer 21,000-21,500. Deal that and then get slammed with 4 question boxes full of spoilers. *grumble* :x
