it is a curious thing, i find that if i play when i am utterly shattered i perform better than when i am fully alert. nothing to do with booze, just lack of sleep.
anyone else notice this? you could hardly call SWPing an essential function but it seems to shutdown in the brain after coherent speech and dexterity.

I think you right. Like most women, if you performance is half has bad when your shattered then it's better than normal when your performance is likely to be really bad????

it's possible that when you're knackered like that you're also kind of relaxed which could help. Yesterday I was having an awful day until the evening football came on. I was on a machine and able to see the screen - filling in time inbetween questions and suddenly started to win - even got a big win out of 100/1.
Boredom + frustration = tension imho, which makes mistakes more likely.
