Celebrities Playing Machines

Last night I saw "Barry from Eastenders" Shaun Williamson losing on DOND in Ye Olde Cock. However, my girlfriend can easily trump this with the time she saw an animated Alan Davies and a distinctly bored-looking Julia Sawalha ploughing pounds into an ItBox. Can anyone beat that?

Both great spots. Williamson's always been reputed to be a bit useful in quizzes - he certainly makes a play of it on his website (see e.g. http://www.shaun-williamson.com/biography.htm).

I popped in there just before closing time and no sign of Bazza. He no doubt got frustrated with his lack of appearance in celebreity snap which BTW was an easy £5er. :)

A colleague whilst playing WWTBAM in the Devereux spotted Tarrant in there back in April.

Keith Deller (world darts champion). once approached me in a pub and tried to help me. Seeing that I didnt much appreciate it as I do my best to ignore anybody who approaches me in pubs when playing said ' us dart players know more than just about darts' and stomped off.

I've never seen a celebrity actually playing a machine, but over the years I have seen several in pubs while I've been playing. None of them has asked for my autograph!! :D

I once persuaded Kevin Ashman to play WWTBAM on my 50p.

It was being evil, but the great man still managed to get to £4.

A friend of mine helped out Liam Gallagher with a music question that he was struggling with.
