anyone seen this yet? it appears to be affiliated to EMI Publishing bizzarely enough and takes elements of hangman and puts it in a lyric context. I managed to get one fiver and a load of £2 and £3s. Sadly it's unlikely to attract Joe Public as some of the questions are ridiculous and some song choices too obscure (eg Scissor Sisters album tracks!)
Maybe the success of the new Monopoly and Fantasy Football will encourage the manufacturers to keep tweaking the games until they get them good. Lyric COULD be ok with a bit of work.

You should feel worried when you DO understand one of WaterGate's posts...

Is this the game where the questions are of the type "Which of these four lyrics occurred latest in some song from the 70s?" and are all therefore really tricky? I only had a chance to have a brief look at this (I don't get to play much these days) but my early impression was that it might have taken over from Toss the Monkey as the worst/hardest game I have ever seen! With these and that Great Escape abomination, 2007 is certainly shaping up to be a vintage year for the connoisseur of the crap game.
P.S. Is it just me or is it awfully quiet on here these days? I hope I haven't succeeded into turning you ALL into grumpy old men...

it does seem to have been quiet lately.
pity as when i have nothing to do at work i enjoy visiting here. but tbh there is nothing new going on, i doubt the reason for the radio silence is that everyone is too busy travelling around emptying the why factor
i have not seen this lyrics game: very few gamesnet machines near me.

Lyric is a pile of pap.
As is Worditz, another new Gamesnet title.
And Word Soup is like Word Up - "Same Name New Game" they declare - except if you don't clear the board you won't win any money as the £1 is too far along the points scale.
I'm reluctant to post at the moment because I'm depressed about the new builds coming out. Depression is the next stage of disillusionment after extreme fury.
Oh, and my employer has just installed SurfControl which blocks this forum. Ridiculous.
