Friday, on WWTBAM, for £2 : the village of Lidice in Czechoslovakia was destroyed as revenge for which Nazi's assassination? [Answer: Reinhard Heydrich].

Sunday on WWTBAM, for £4 : in what year was Adolf Eichmann hanged in Israel? [Answer : 1962]

Good job I watch the history channel...

To win when your stock gag involves ignorance and weak conspiracy theory says a lot about your rival.
GD, mate, make a new user and all will be forgotten.

What are you on Ernest! I watched Coronation Street last Friday and knew what Cilla was up to, but you don't hear me going on about it.

if DH stands for DickHead you are entirely right. How did you know?

played £5 through wwtbam today £1 was at 8000 kept getting to 16000 (£2) and kept gambling to ridiculous Qs. and the ata lifeline didn't work.
Anyhow I lost.

You really have to catch WWTBAM at the right moment or it just plays like an absolute dog. You did good to get that high if it wasn't in the mood!

I got to 64000 today for only a quid. No Nazi questions though. £1 is usually at 16000 or 32000 most places here, not often 8000 or lower.

Ask the audience is not much good beyond 2000 I think, unless you're torn between 2 answers.

I dunno how WWTBAM plays these days, never play it. The only other game worth playing in the pub I was in was cluedo which is boring me now too.
Where are the new games?

What's a good Cluedo tactic? I am always torn between collecting all 6 suspects, or landing on the rooms for guesses, or landing on the question marks, and then I either get to £1 for 3 guesses and bottle it, taking the quid, or die with 4/5 suspects before I've decided what I'm going for.

Edit: just seen Unknownpseudonym's guide, will have a try.

Play for the suspects on Cluedo. They're too hard for punters to get. If you get 5 of them and can't seem to land on the last one, that's becasue it's not going to let you.

If you can get to 64,000 on Millionaire when it's at a £1, you can obviously play a bit. If you want a tip on ATA, as a general rule, watch the graph when it starts - the first one to peak is usually the correct answer, regardless of where the graph ends up
