Would it be a good idea for us as a community to try to make note of the random spoiler questions on here and therefore gain a better chance of getting them right. Or are they that random that this wouldnt work. Also when I get a question and the answer is a number I always go for the middle value and this normally works.

many of the spoilers are autogenerated by the machine hardware, it has a database of (e.g.) land mass of provinces and can dip into those data to pluck one, so this sort of thing wouldn't help you.
in theory we could all note these but in practice there are too many. we just have to take it on the chin.

So the chances of a tough question repeating is so unlikely it is a waste of time doing this. Im just trying to think of ways to boost the general payouts of these machines for everyones good. Is it also true that pubs have to buy credits in bulk off the machine providers at a cost of around 30p per game. That is 60% of takings which seems very extortionate.

There are thousands of lockout questions on these platforms, so no its not worth creating a question list. Secondly, no its not true.
