Bully's Star Prize, Death and Taxes
There aren't many certainties in this world, but one is that if you play the bonus end game in Bullseye Star Prize, you'll get one shiny pound coin for your troubles (should you complete the challenge).
Has ANYONE ever won more? I even collected a pound in the normal game then went straight to the bonus game in the hope of boosting my final game prize, but alas, to no avail.
Has anyone ever missed it? Do your winnings come back in the next game?

Agreed, every time i take the star prize it's been £1 (hardly worth the effort when it decides to bounce out).
I recently hit the bully 1st dart for £5 and thought i'll see if the star prize is bigger because i had more to lose, but no £1 again!!.
Shocking really they should call it the "£1 Extra Game".
Surely SOMEONE has seen better?

No it dosent come back next game. Your winnings wont come back if you mess the star prize up. It costs 50pence anyway so its not really worth risking a prize to make 50p!
Ive had 701 boards followed by a streak.
201 get the £2 followed by 101 get the £2 which blocks normally gives it on like the last two out of nine darts followed by a 201 or 301 £2 board if it wants to.
Not sure if doing the star prize would affect it. Could be up to £10 off like £3 if done right, thats good profit if you hit quite a few.
Obviously its rare to catch it 101 starting! 1 questions then bully bonus straight on the prize board and still on the easy level for a few questions. I always bang it on £2 everytime always seems to go

Ironically the proles probably know more about this game and the previous version of Bullseye than anyone who plays the machines more seriously. They like the familiarity of it and the relative ease of the skill element in the initial stages but are less bothered about the issues that should dissuade anyone else from playing it:
- the fixed skill game at the end on both the original and the rebrand
- the pointless gamble of 50p to win a £1 prize (99% of the time) in the new version
There IS a decent game struggling to get out of the Bullseye concept but the cowards at the machine companies won't allow it to see the light of day.

Interesting concept...the fixed skill game at the end on both the original and the rebrand

Digressing, sligthly...
Although I agree, for each game that is supposed to have the skill element (as in 'when to hit the screen' not how to answer questions / make words) there is a fixed element.
As you say, funny that there's no 'aiming reticule' in the final 'skill' round of bully. Funny that the physics of the ball / table 'changes' on Trickshot Pool, when you are about to land in the huge cashpot area. The baize seems to suddenly change to ice. There's plenty of other examples too, which I'm sure we all know about...

This really gets on my nerves as I'm sure there's a better way to prevent someone from winning than blatantly changing the goalposts at a particular point. Grr...

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."
Yes - to be clear for anyone who didn't understand me, I should have written 'the fixed "skill" game', as for me it stops being a skill when areas of an identical size on a dartboard become mysteriously easier or harder to hit simply because of the different values attached to them.
The original Crazy Money golf game (not the newer abomination) was an example of how you can make the skill element harder, by adding the windmill, without actually making it unfair. At the time that was no more than a reasonable game but now it looks more and more like a world-beater in comparison to the complete dross that is out there today.
