booting problem on machines

hi guys.just wondering if you have a video machine and it works but needs to be turned on several times to boot what might be the issue.

I suspect a thermal expansion issue. Try re-seating any components in case they've crept out of their sockets.

I'm not one of these power tripping super mods you get on other forums. As a result of my foolish behaviour, I am banning myself from here for four days. Thank you Bubbles for highlighting my inappropriate behaviour.
