strange error

went into a very central boozer in London at lunchtime and came across a new and peculiar error on paragon; one i've not encountered before.
i bought my drink, put fifty pee in the machine and played a game.
i won a certain amount of money but it wouldn't let me collect. the main screen read 0.00 in the bank but had DEMO in the credit slot, within all the individual game menus it read the correct amount in the bank section.
i played off a few games with varying tactics but it just stayed on DEMO so i couldn't win. i won't ascribe it to malice, NS would take a dim view of that. but it was bizarre.
