I've had a few bonuses in the later stages of the game which have been quite hectic... but haven't seen them leaving the screen like they used to.

Cheers :)

Useful then if you end up with hindu gods/iceland etc. Can use the bonus to try and get mastermind/ateam which seem like nice spoiler categories :)

Bonus

Post by leamgem »

YES - the bonus can 'kill' you. Just yesterday, a friend and I were playing PINTS and we're seasoned pros. We followed the only card that would maintain our game and it turned over displaying YA BARRED. This has occurred several times in the past couple of weeks, so the creators have NOT ensured that the jackpot is attainable during each game.

Also, for the first time over the weekend, PINTS disappeared from one particular machine after we JP-ed it. This has been a regular feature with Hex Maniac since the update, with that particular game re-emerging after a break of between 6 and 10 weeks.

Hindu Gods and Iceland are among my favourite categories!! Very limited database on these particular 'spoilers'.

Well, I suppose the prize jackpot is still attainable if you avoid the bonus and stick with question rounds. They seem to get a bit dicey.

True, but sometimes PINTS will throw up 3 bonuses so you don't have the option to answer a dicey question!

quiet in here lately.

i still like PMP, but maybe time for some more new categories?
i'll get the ball rolling:

~ ingredients in a big mac (or kebab if that is litigious).

~ rhetorical devices (chiasmus, litotes, zeugma etc.)

~ minor royals

~ darts players

~ synonyms for drunk

~ famous belgians (i can only think of SOETKIN BAPTIST)

~ poisons (equivalent to explosives)

~ gypsy misdemeanours

~ disgraced politicians
nobody ever wins on those things.

The 'categories I wasn't allowed to put in' can be pretty entertaining. Ones that stick in my mind are 'date-rape drugs' and 'they died of AIDS'.
