WORRYING TREND
WORRYING TREND
checking a few sites yesterday was alarmed to find three guaranteed sites with nothing but empty spaces where the warehouses were once sited two of the sites were national pub chains as well not lookin good for the future
Re: WORRYING TREND
Worrying indeed. I've not been playing much myself lately, but haven't noticed any pattern of disappearances at any of the sites I have visited. I'll keep an eye out though.wires74 wrote:checking a few sites yesterday was alarmed to find three guaranteed sites with nothing but empty spaces where the warehouses were once sited two of the sites were national pub chains as well not lookin good for the future

4 pubs have gone for a Burton in my locally frequented town over the last 6 months... ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/sorrow.png)
Here's how many there 'were', not bad for a small-ish town (popn. 95,000):

Not a bad website that for other Kent-based towns either...![Smile :)](./images/smilies/smile.png)

"And do you ever contradict yourself, Minister?" "Well, yes and no..."

What a neat summary - on at least three of the main cabinets, particularly the ItBoxes and Gamesnets, there is so much drivel that the things are dying on their arses. It's getting rarer and rarer that you seen anyone playing them for any length of time. This should be at least as much of a worrying trend for those who like to play quiz machines at whatever level as the other main issues (pubs closing, pubs removing their quiz machines and the potential changes in taxation). The latter two of these might of course be related...TheMagicWanderer wrote:Mine are still, but the good games are goneso, I never see anyone playing em much.

Hehe QM - I was wondering that too, it's a town I play in every so often myself. Too much information, methinks!superfruiter wrote:theres a chicago rock opposite the spoons in stafford - you from round there?QuizMaster wrote:Chicago Rock. Not surprised at £3.50 a pint though when it was opposite a Spoons.
