Not sure if £10 counts as a jackpot on ELW, but the game ended when I won it. The £20 looks debatable. I've had a 'Double Prizes' in the bonus round which doubled everything but i ended up blowng it and only getting £6.

Haven't seen it since, but I was in absolute Mongtown when that happened.

Bad luck. I did notice the claimed £20 JP on ELW as compared with the £10 prize at the top level. I think that advertising a JP which assumes that a certain bonus is given is slightly underhand really. I think £10 "counts" as an ELW jackpot just as I think £10 probably "counts" as a DOW jackpot. Except double prizes on DOW looks to be easier to get than it is on ELW. Speaking of DOW I had my first non-winning occasion on it last night, but three out of four £5 wins so far is a good start. Hope I manage to JP it soon ... or will it be a Pub Quiz, the game that I've never once JPed despite suspecting that the entire world and his wife must have JPed it on some occasion, as it looks so straighforward.

I have JP'd Pub Quiz a few times, but it's not easy due to the overt nature of spoilers that come up in the last 2 rounds.

Similarly, I used to JP Hangman quite a lot, for a jackpot of £30, even thought it boasts that the jackpot is £40.

That's true, and came to mind when I did my last post. I presume the £40 assumed a £30 JP with a £10 prize on the cards along the way - a tall order if ever there was one (personally, I only got the £30 JP once - happy days though). Or perhaps the top cards prize was £40 (but wouldn't that mean a £70 JP?) All indicates why the advertised JP should be what you get finishing the game, assuming no bonuses.

You're right about the spoilers on Pub Quiz. I've come within one question once and two questions a couple of times but it does require some lucky guessing. Also the wrong answers seem spectactularly well-chosen to be deceptive (contrast with e.g. DOW, or in particular Trivia for Dummies, where most questions are fairly guessable with reasonable GK) , plus there's a strong emphasis on very modern pop music and very modern films, neither of which are particular fortes of mine.

Won my first £10 off ELW this lunchtime - I've yet to see any double prize awarded.

Jacked Caveman Capers yesterday. Had a try again all the way though needed to guess the £3 question but after that it was nearly all plain sailing to the jackpot.

(Skill )Solitaire for £10. Only played it because I thought it was a quizzer similar to Poker/Blackjack.

The truth is it jackpotted me, cards came out in virtually the right order - incredibly easy.

I'm not volunteering or anything. But how about a big matrix type thing, with all the games (old and new) as the rows and all the fruitchat players as the columns. This could show who's jacked what and if not their best win perhaps? Just a thought. Might get some healthy competition going.

I'm sure someone who could be arsed could knock up an Excel spreadsheet with all our names in a column, with the names of all current and recent machines across the top. Each member can then just add their X's, high prizes or whatever, and reattach the document for the next person to edit.

I would normally do it, but I'm kinda busy at the moment, and I live in fear of being branded a sad bastard by the cooler members of this forum.

Don't worry, I'm too caught up in my high-rolling playboy lifestyle to have the time to call anyone sad. 8)

Finally jackpotted MONKEY BUSINESS today - somewhat appropriately, 36,666 points rewarded me with a 'You are the King of the Swingers' and ten shiny quids. :D

I only recently started playing Solitaire and I've taken a tenner twice in a month. Didn't deserve it at all. It's very strange because even drunk mug punter would have struggled to lose the 40 odd games in a row required to produce a 10 quid jp...

Don't think I've ever jp'ed anything else

Managed to jackpot All Star Quizzing yesterday. Kept two of my helps throughout, although they pretty much abandoned me in the last round and I had to rely on my brand new tactic of being outrageously lucky when answering questions. Technically, I know that a true jackpot would be to double up on the pairs game, but I decided not to push it. I’ll leave you all to decide whether:

a. A trio of Russian dancers came on and, Tetris-style, performed an energetic trepak, or
b. I got a message saying “You have won £10.00”.

Well done ggdr - I've had many fivers from Allstars but never a tenner. Is (a) what you get when you JP Tetris then? (I wouldn't know!)
