Whatever you may say, you would be as pleased as I would to see that on top of a score board!

MILQUETOASTS is my favourite lately. nice to learn a new word. but i pay no attention to how many points it might score. my interest is in words not numbers.

"fazmick", not sure I understand your post... I checked the high scores at the Footage in Manchester, saw someone had scored a 2166 under the name "FAZ PRIK" and reported it to EWQ for the website. I didn't get the score myself (anything that big I would definitely enter as my own name!), I just reported what I saw verbatim. And a 2166 is second round of the Champions' League, definitely not Conference North.

Must be a case of mistaken identity, sorry. I noticed you got several very good scores in Manchester from VBOb's website and put two and two together.

But that doesn't alter the fact that somebody who is very good at word soup who visited Manchester recently is calling me a phallus! Anyone want to own up...?!!

had a pleasing four games over lunch in which i failed to clear but put COLLAGENIC, CAESURAE and SILKWORMS on the more important leader board. only PIPISTRELLES makes Ernest's board.

Got MILQUETOASTS recently
i had some MILQUETOASTS yesterday too. didn't know the word before but it has been subconsciously added. that and a NC 1680 conquered putney. bizarrely they were quite good at wobble.

afraid i was only in there for a speedpint. didn't pay much attention but someone calling him(i'm assuming)self COS has been clearing near where i work. and somebody quite good has taken to beating me by exactly one on cocks and throbbers. very pointedly and highscoring as Z or ZZZ. this must be a waste of time for whoever it is. but i can't be bothered with getting 202 to get back on top. although i am irked.

Congratulations VBOB, another of the plum high-score records is now unified (previously 799 was top score on old dictionary and 784 on the new). Looks like a far harder word to get than QUIZZICALITIES so I don't imagine there'll be too many copy-cat achievements in the coming months like there were after the first QUIZZICALITIES.
