No. It's because it's shit.

I would think that the fact that Gamesnet is equally unpopular with players would be an indication, since they are effectively the same suite of games.

Either there's some confusion here or there must be (at least) two main editions of either the KUDOS or the Gamesnet out there because the KUDOS cabinets I play (and voted for on here) are very different from the current Gamesnets that I find - they have at least 10 and possibly more games that are not on the Gamesnet, and many of those 10 are exactly the games that caused me to vote for the KUDOS as my no. 1. The KUDOSes are sadly rare, and maybe that does explain their low rating, but equally the 'horses for courses' principle may well be the key. After all, I bet there are some people out there somewhere who are actually excited by the recent appearance of the utterly dreadful Colour of Money on the Paragons...

You must be looking at different Kudos's to the ones I have seen. I know one pub that has both a Kudos and Gamesnet and they have both got exactly the same (issue 19) games on them.

Maybe it's because the Gamesnets you are looking at are on a network - so they are an indication of what the Kudos will look like in about 4 months' time...........

Fair enough - I suspected as much. Well, KUDOS is still my no. 1 in the current configuration that I get to see; when it starts to match the Gamesnet exactly it will join that at the very bottom of the pile.

I wondered whether {whichever co.that makes the Kudos} had given up and sold out to the Gamestec. (i have<12 kudoses(?) on my list 100s of miles apart) but i feel they are converging

why i prefer the kudos to the gamesloth:

a: fantasy football quiz and word wobble
b: the kudos is nicer to play (screen, accuracy, speed)
c: you never know what you';re getting with a gamesnet (kudos has none of this test rubbish)

but as I say i have fewer than a dozen on my list
