Me and my mate Potts got 1798 today. Very annoying but we cleaned up on Bullseye and Battleships.

Lost indeed.

Putney is in South West London. My girlfriend lives there so its one of our standard playgrounds.

I seem to recall a younger barmaid that I mean to go back and seduce at some point. 8)

Thanks. 8)

Extra credit for having VBob there at the time? It really is a disadvantage.

i stand corrected, i spend most of my time lost somewhere. the bar staff in that pub (a youngs pub) were of a good standard generally. the one i'm referring to was early 20s very well spoken and genial without being chummy.

a barmaid that you mean to seduce? last of the international playboys Fotherz

Did you know that the longest word you can get is 26 letters?
I had shitty board today and pressed random letters but it didn't let me go over 26 letters. Not that anyone ever will get a 26 letter word.

That's annoying, it rules out ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPHICALLY (27).

Today I got TRANQUILLIZERS (644) and JAZZIEST (2??) in the same game, just failed to clear, ended with a 1640 non-clearance. Pain.

Meanwhile, Fotherz the Fluke has jammily skanked another undeserved, skill-free, lucky record: INCONSEQUENTIALLY (799). I'm sure you'll here the other side of the story from him in due course.

bravo Fotherz! and it's not often i press shift1.
i feel inadequate posting my latest efforts but anyway here goes
leicester sq: 1881 at o'neills and SUPPRESSIONS at yates's (nb Ernest, the old machine at the latter has been reinstated so now they have two itboxes)
finchley road: 1887 at 3one7 and VOLUNTEERED at walkabout.
finchley road is/was a HULLHULL stronghold and they have two QUINTESSENTIALs at the north star

i go to all the classy pubs.
nobody ever wins on those things.

Was it one of you guys who was after Word Up highscores from around the UK?

I snapped a couple last night, some pitifully low ones here in York. No higher than about 1400. they're on a mates phone, ill upload them later on.
