I would like to be the first to congratulate myself and Ernest on such excellent news - WELL DONEthe VaginalBob team! *cracks open a can of vintage Tab Clear and pours onto carpet*
Can I be the first to thank VB for his congratulatory gestures. I'll open a can of Schweppes Cream Soda to precipitate reminiscence of allowable kids' drinks in Brit Expat bars in Islamic countries.
good stuff. i'll toast you with um bongo.
i was going to clean up at the wetherspoons/lloyds on cxr at lunchtime today; i'd left it for a week to accrue. but you are right that the throughput of muppet money in there is unusually high. it is also a meeting place for a large deaf community and some of the barstaff have been trained in BSL which is a nice touch.
Oops, apologies unknown, didn't realise we'd robbed your nest. But we won't be there again for quite a while I think so it's all yours (unless VB goes there on his own).
Good score. Agonisingly one point short of my solo best though. We were about to go in there on Saturday but the bouncer wouldn't let me in with my bag of drinks/food, so we buggered off.
Head-hunted the world's top Literati (Yahoo.com -> games -> literati) player and general blitz scrabble genius, 'AW,' today - the VB team can only get stronger after pulling off this astonishing coup.
Have updated/altered the "teams and players" bit of the VB website. Anyone else who wants a little spot on there should pm me. For those already on there, do let me know when you beat your PB or whatever (of course, if it is a national board score you should tell me anyway).
i had to go to saint ratford yesterday and it is okay for east london. there is only one quiz machine though.
the golden grove: scene of a personal triumph: QUINCUNXES which is a beautiful word, deserved much more than 340. still, SNERUST makes the high score table.
That's a neat word... might find it tricky to work it into everyday conversations.
I'm often tempted to go for these outlandish words, but not sure if the dictionary will include them, spent half my time trying to arrange FLIPCHARTS, only to find out that it wasn't included.
