Roughly how old was this fellow? Also matches description of a chap who used to play the fruits round the central London area in the mid nineties.
I wouldn't say he was any more than 30, although it was hard to tell.
This was in Fishponds, a suburb of Bristol, and he obviously wasn't local as he proceeded to check 2 pubs with paragons.
